natural skill of working out trades and deals with nearby systems. No one with the exception of the politicians were grossly wealthy and most people survived
with a modest income. Among the populace were a young married couple, Jacob and Maria Daniels. Both were well known pharmaceutical scientists who owned their
own private company as well as a chain of pharmacies within Ple City. When the pair received financial independence that began to try for children. They were
immediately blessed with Jake. The pregnancy was routine and very text book. At each stage Maria was where she needed to be. Jake grew healthy within her womb
and as a result Maria remained healthy herself. When the birth came Maria retired from the stores to remain a stay at home mother. They offered Jake the best
of what they could get. Within their home they spared no extra expense and used it to ensure the safety and continued growth of their young infant. As Daniels
grew through his first year, he astonished his parents at how quickly he could walk and talk. He showed an inquisitive nature and even seemed to understand
what his parents would say to him at a faster rate than most children his age. The young Jake had become the child of any parents dreams.
At Jakes second birthday, his parents had gone out to finish preparations, leaving Jake with an elderly care giver. Hanz, the Daniels neighbors had often looked over the young toddler, especially now that his mother was pregnant with their second child, a daughter they planned to name Fall. It was not until Hanz began to act differently and night fell that Jake began to realize something was not right. The boy cried, screamed, yelled and threw things in angry fits through the night, screaming for his parents. All Hanz could do was try and keep Jake calm. The next day Hanz took Jake back to his home, however his parents were not there. As they entered the home, the older man knelt down to Jake and let him know that his Mommy and Daddy would no longer be coming home. He gently broke the news as simply as possible that they were involved in an accident and were now in a better place. Jake understood more than Hanz predicted and all the boy did was hold his now legal guardian. During the rest of his second and well into his third yearr of life, Jake did not speak. He did not smile. He did not laugh and he hardly played. The loss of his family had taken its toll on the young boy. As the young boy struggled within, Hanz worked vigorously to preserve the Daniels fortune. Taking the young Daniels to court time and again, he battle the board of the parmaceutical company as well as the board to the pharmacy chain to ensure they remained the Daniels family sole posession. In what became a planetary spectacle of family rights, the Dantellian Supreme Court agreed with Hanz and stated that for the lifetime of Jake Daniels, the pharmaceutical company and pharmacy stores would remain his. Until his eighteenth birthday, Hanz would act as the head to both organizations. Any profits earned from the buisnesses would be put into two accounts. The first being an account for Hanz so he had funds to help raise Jake, the other a savings account Jake would recieve on that eigteenth birthday.
Jake remained a relatively quiet child though he began to talk once more. Hanz put him into pre-school before kindgergarden. Jakes memory was remarkable. He distinguished colors and learned the alphabet. He understood numbers and could perform basic math skills. When he entered primary school, Jake excelled to the top of his class. Math showed to be his least favorite of subject but science and history were his best. Hanz hired a private tutor who spent two hours with Jake at the end of each school day, drilling math and science into the young boy. He knew that Jake was just like his parents and if he could keep him focused on Science and Math, he would prove to be a great leader for his companies. When Jake hit puberty, Hanz instilled the idea of manners and how to act like a gentleman. Using the code that men in the Daniels family had used for generations, the guardian turned Jake from a hormonal teen into a near perfect young man when it came to treating ladies with respect. As Jake passed through junior high school and then high school, he continued to learn about his family history and codes through Hanz. The problems occured in Jakes final year of high school. Being a star on his schools speech and debate team, Daniels had several girl friends that year, each one he was intimate with. When Hanz learned of Jakes adventures, he scolded Jake, informing the young man the greatest respect a man could give a woman is to show he has the self-control not to try and get her into bed. Daniels took this lesson to heart.

When he recieved access to his savings account, he learned he had well more than enough to retire on comfortable for the remainder of his days. However, Jake made a decision that would make Hanz proud. He wanted to go to college. Jake took some courses but nothing stuck out to him until Jake learned of a culinary academy. Instantly, Jake enrolled and found a love for food. They taught Jake a valuable lesson. A chef is always head of his kitchen. If he did not prepare the food or did not see it prepared, it did not reach the mouth of a patron. Jake took this even a bit closer to home, he had to prepare his own food or see it prepared. After a dna test, it was revealed Jake was the true father but even this test could not track down the mother. When thinking back to the women he was intimate with in his final year of high school. As he tried to track them down, he learned each of the women had left the planet with the past couple of weeks and it was now impossible to get dna tests from any of them. Daniels brought the baby girl into his home and immediately took care of her as only a father should. Jake finished his schooling, hiring Hanz to take care of his daughter while he was at his classes. When Jake graduated, he decided to remain a stay and home father and focus on his daughter. She showed the same skills he did during her first couple of years. She was quick at walking and talking and was just as inquisitve. Daniels loved his daughter and planned her life out for her. Everyweekend, he took her to downtown Ple, where he and Hanz would have coffee together. Two weeks before her third birthday, while at the same coffee shop they had always sat at, Jake, Victoria, and Hanz sat. After losing sight of his daughter for a mere minute, the sound of a loud speeder screeching and a light thump hitting the ground immediately grabbed Jake and Hanzs attention. As they looked into the street, they saw Victoria lieing in a heap, motionless.
Over the next year, Daniels fought off severe depression as best he could. At work, he distanced himself from others while at home he kept away from family. Jake turned to alcohol which only deepened the depression and gradually his mind began to rot away in a sea of self-pity and guilt. Jake could not control how he felt, could not get over the fact of what he had done. Slowly the thoughts of himself as a failed father overtook him, culminating on the one year anniversary of his daughters death. In the privacy of his home, Daniels attempted to take his life by means of slitting his wrists in a warm bath. As he blacked out, Jedi Knight Samara Galloway, as if on cue, broke into the Daniels home and saved the young mans life. While in the hospital, recovering from his wounds, Samara offered Jake a chance to train as a Jedi, to become her student. Reluctantly Jake accepted and together the pair headed off to Theed. When the pair arrived, Daniels was slow to adjust to temple life. Use to the freedom to do as he wished, whenever he wished, the new sets of rules put on him by Knight Galloway and the Order conflicted greatly with who Jake was as an individual. After weeks of adjustment, Daniels went home for a much needed rest and relaxation.
It was back home that he met another Jedi Knight, Emily Garnier, who had been stood up by her date for dinner. Instinctly, Daniels took over what should have been Ms. Garniers dates roll, had he showed and the two hit it off. The dinner was grand and pleasing and the two were well adjusted for the other. The next morning, Emily met Jake at his Aunts buisness but before they could venture to lunch, the pair instead ended up at Emilys homestead and did not reemerge until the next morning. The two had given into temptation and hit it right off. Little did either know, Emily Garnier had now become pregnant. They spent the next week close to one another before the pair ventured back to the Jedi Temple. Daniels again went back to Samara for continued training though when his Master learned of his new relationship, she showed her distaste for such and attempted to scold Jake on it. Daniels would not listen. The two slowly began to split apart as their discommfort and confrontations started to grow.
When Hawk Hinata lead an assault on the planet of Korriban, Jake joined. During the course of the battle, Jake fought against two sith lords, two sith knights and a sith apprentice, losing all five fights. Daniels was beaten so horribly that even the Jedi Healers could not service him on the planets surface. Daniels was taken from the planet on immidiate medical evac and back to Naboo. During a slow recovery, Daniels learned of Emilys pregnancy and in turn more problems with Samara occured. Learning of the events, Hawk Hinata stepped in and took on Jake Daniels as his padawan. The two did not mesh immeditaly at first, both having to grow use to one another as Jake had Samara. Unlike Samara however, Daniels and Hawk never truly got training underway. Instead, they both did their own things, so long as it did not affect the other. Daniels decided to learn on his own and at his own pace.
When the children were born, Emily named them Jack and Blake and both parents spent the first two months of the childrens lives, at home, with Jakes grandfather Conner. The boys brought a joy to Jakes life that he had not felt since Victoria had been apart of it some years earlier. They both looked like their mother yet their constant crying and otherwise seemingly outgoing natures reflected their father. At two months, both Emily and Jake received a messages to report to the Jedi Temple. When they arrived, Daniels set a prank into motion, enlisting the help of Skip Lone and Rebel Damon. The three set up cameras inside the female Jedi showers and broadcast their images across theed. Amongst the women was Emily Daniels, Jakes wife. When the cameras were found out, there was a massive man hunt. Damon rushed off on his own while Skip and Jake made their way towards Skips ship. It was here Rach Sullen attacked the Jedi Padawan. Tossing him about like a rag doll. Beautiful and deadly, she was like an Angel of the Devil himself. Sullen, with an unconscious Jake in tow, left Theed thus leaving no clue about Jakes abduction. Rach took Daniels to a secure location where she passed ownership of the Padawan to Darth Silencia. Silencia immediately went to work on Jake. Spending countless hours torturing and maiming the Jedi Padawan. Having broken his spirit, Silencia allowed Jake to go free, where she forced the Jedi Padawan to take a Darth name and cast aside his Jedi ideals. Daniels followed Silencias orders, now believing the Jedi Order shunned and abandoned him. Jake Daniels had been laid to rest and in his place, Darth Gravis had risen.
